Queen Latifah ft. Treach, Heavy D & the Boyz and KRS-One- Rough

Straight out of the boom bap era of 1993, came Queen Latifah's album, "Black Reign" which in my opinion is one of her best albums ever. To be honest I literally played the cassette tape out until the magnetic tape popped. Yes I said cassette tape !!! "Black Reign" is definitely an album a hip hop purist should have in there collection.

Still sharp as steel

Ahhhh Man you know I had to dig in my crates for this one, this sh!t goes hard!!! 50 and CNN holding it down for Queens. This was 50 before the whole G-Unit movement when "Power of the Dollar" was going to drop. A very very rare record that can only be found on mixtapes. Lords Of The Underground - Funky Child

One of my favorite groups back in the 90's Lords of the Underground always brought that funky head nodding vibe to their music. Hailing from New Jersey, this 3 man group have a hand full of classic tracks under their belts. When I heard "Shot Caller" from French Montana the first thing I thought of was Lords of the Underground "Funky Child." What can I say I am trapped in the 90's.
