Jeru The Damaja - Come Clean

Straight from Brooklyn N.Y. His first album, "The Sun Rises in the East", was released in 1994 and produced entirely by DJ Premier. (Are ya'll seeing a pattern now?) The album is a underground classic til this day. It is considerably significant in hip hop, as it contributed to the revival of the East Coast hip hop scene with the single "Come Clean" which had a lot of heads nodding to the beat.

This record is also off of "The Sun Rises in the East." This was an cool record on his perspective on those not so wonderful women, we all know at least one or two of them. I liked the vibe this track brought to the table so I wasn't surprised when one of Hip Hop's biggest superstars paid homage. I guess you can call it that and made his 2002 version...

Jay-Z & Sauce Money - All About The Benjamins freestyle (1997)

Yo I remember this freestyle like it was yesterday off of DJ Clue's "Show Me the Money" mixtape and you better believe I still have the tape in my collection. "You must be chinese they way you duck sauce,"  that line single handily generated his buzz in the streets. As one of the original members of Rocafella, he released one album entitled " Middle Finger U" Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/?9t9sfdw341vq3ev Oh by the way Sauce Money won a Grammy for writing Puff Daddy's tribute to The Notorious B.I.G., "I'll Be Missing You". Mos Def - Brooklyn (Original Version)

This is the original version of Mos Def's song "Brooklyn." The album version is found on his debut "Black on Both Sides." On the original version, Mos Def is rhyming over "Incarcerated Scarfaces" by Raekwon as well as "Give Up the Goods (Just Step)" by Mobb Deep, and "Who Shot Ya?" by The Late Great Notorious B.I.G. This is definitely a rare song. Download link: Brookyln (Original Version)
